SWALLOW THE SUN are a Finnish metal band founded in 2000 with a "death and doom" style that emphasizes melody and atmosphere, and occasionally steps into gothic and black metal territory. They have released seven full-length albums, one triple album, one EP, one demo, and five singles.

In the interview Mikko discusses the creation of the album, singing styles, the band's imagery and much more.
